Is face serum better at day or night?
As Super Clarifying Serum is a light-weight serum, you can include it in your day and night skincare routine. Due to the actives, the skin can become more stronger during the day while minimising UV exposure.
When is the right age to start using a Niacinamide serum?
We recommend using this serum after 18 years of age.
When can I start seeing visible effects after using this serum?
One can start experiencing visible changes in 2 to 4 weeks from the day of use. However, the results for every individual may vary.
How should I use this in my routine?
The serum can be used twice daily. We recommend that you use it after a cleanser and toner (optional), following it up with a moisturiser and then a sunscreen. We would recommend layering on a good amount of sunscreen to make sure skin remains protected.
Can I layer this with other serums?
Yes. Apply serums of thinnest texture first, before applying thicker texture serums.
What is PIE and PIH?
PIE looks red in its appearance, and it shows up post acne. Whereas PIH, is hyperpigmentation marks and these marks look dark or brown due to excess production of melanin.
Causes of PIE and PIH?
They both have different causes. UV exposure or wounds causes PIH; it is mostly seen in darker tones of skin complexion with melanin (dark pigment). PIE, on the other hand, happens due to damage to skin capillaries underneath the skin. They look pinkish or red in colour.
What are the benefits of Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (PAD) Solution on skin?
It balances the sebum production, helps in healing breakouts and clogged pores.
Is Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate safe for the skin?
PAD is significantly effective in low concentrations, and it inherits all the properties of Azelaic acid, minus any side effects. It is soothing and visibly improves skin’s texture.
Difference between potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate and azelaic acid
Azelaic Acid has anti-inflammatory, skin lightening and anti-acne effects but, its insolubility makes it difficult to use it in a cosmetically elegant and versatile way, It is not the most suitable for acne-prone skin or sensitive skin.
PAD on the other hand is easily soluble in water, non-irritating to skin, significantly effective in low concentrations and inherits all the lovely properties of Azelaic Acid. The water base is especially friendly towards acne-prone skin. Found at a comparatively lower ph, it is gentle enough for daily use.
